Walt Disney World will raise peak Lightning Lane Single Pass prices for five attractions. Multi Pass is unchanged for now, while Premier Pass will receive a $50 peak-price increase on high-demand dates with no effective date announced yet.

Walt Disney World will use new Lightning Lane Single Pass pricing for visit dates beginning November 1, 2026. The change applies to paid reservations for one headline attraction at a time, not to Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Guests visiting in November, over Thanksgiving, or during the December holiday period should revisit their daily plans before deciding which experiences to reserve.

The new peaks are $18 for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, $25 for TRON Lightcycle Run, $25 for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, $25 for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and $20 for Avatar Flight of Passage. These are per-person, per-attraction amounts, and the actual price still varies by date. Rise of the Resistance remains at $25, but it now shares the top price with TRON and Cosmic Rewind.

There are two other planning details worth separating from the Single Pass increase. Lightning Lane Multi Pass pricing is unchanged for now, while Walt Disney World has announced a $50 increase to Lightning Lane Premier Pass peak prices on the highest-demand days. No start date has been communicated for the new Premier Pass peaks. The right choice comes down to park hours, must-do rides, and whether the added convenience earns its place in the budget.

What is changing for single-attraction reservations

Lightning Lane Single Pass is the separately purchased access option for a headline ride not included with Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Beginning November 1, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will have an $18 peak, up from a previous $15 high. TRON Lightcycle Run will reach $25 from $23, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind $25 from $22, and Avatar Flight of Passage $20 from $19.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is not increasing in this update; its peak remains $25. That does not mean it will cost $25 every day, since Single Pass uses attraction-specific, date-based pricing. The announced ceiling adjustments range from $1 to $3, depending on the ride and date. A lower price on a particular travel day does not mean the new ceiling is irrelevant; it may simply reflect a different forecast of demand.

The family impact and when it is worth buying

A family of four purchasing the highest-priced Single Pass for everyone should allow up to $100 before tax for one attraction when that ride is priced at its $25 peak. Add a second individual reservation at $20 and the total can reach $180 before tax. That group calculation is more useful than evaluating a single price in isolation, because costs rise quickly with party size.

Single Pass is most compelling for guests with one non-negotiable ride and a short touring window: first-time visitors with one or two park days, adults with limited hours, or parties that strongly prefer to avoid long waits. On a longer stay, it does not need to be an automatic purchase in every park. Reserve it only when bypassing that queue genuinely changes the day or keeps a key experience within reach for someone in the group.

Multi Pass remains unchanged for now

Lightning Lane Multi Pass is not receiving a price increase in this announcement. Its current peak prices are $45 per person at Magic Kingdom, $39 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, $37 at EPCOT, and $35 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Multi Pass allows guests to make three ride selections per day in advance, then seek additional selections on a rolling basis after entering the park and using their initial choices.

The distinction matters to the budget: Multi Pass covers multiple eligible attractions, while Single Pass adds one headline experience separately. Anyone buying both needs to add the two charges together rather than treating them as alternatives at the same price point. Before adding Single Pass, check whether the three initial Multi Pass selections already address the queues that concern you most. For a relaxed day with lengthy breaks, the multi-ride product may offer less value than touring at a different pace.

Premier Pass: a confirmed increase with no date yet

Lightning Lane Premier Pass includes attractions available through both Multi Pass and Single Pass, without requiring guests to schedule a return window for each ride. Walt Disney World has announced a $50 increase to its peak prices on the highest-demand days across all four parks. That adjustment does not begin on November 1, 2026, and an effective date has not yet been provided.

Current Premier Pass ranges, before tax, are $119 to $199 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, $169 to $249 at EPCOT, $269 to $349 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $329 to $449 at Magic Kingdom. If the announced $50 increase is applied to each stated peak, the resulting ceilings would be $249, $299, $399, and $499 respectively, before tax. Since no date has been published, those new ceilings should not yet be used as a firm budget figure for a specific trip.

How to reshape a November or December park day

November 1, 2026 falls during a period when demand may be higher than in late October, making advance planning especially useful for guests considering Single Pass. Start with the attraction you most do not want to miss, then compare the displayed price against arrival time, breaks, meals, and departure plans. Paying for a reservation that conflicts with a planned meal or rest period weakens its value.

Disney hotel guests may use Early Theme Park Entry to attempt certain attractions at the start of the day. Guests eligible for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours may have another useful opportunity on selected nights. Those benefits do not replace a reservation for every visitor and depend on the park, hotel, and calendar, but they can change the purchase decision. Guests without those windows can choose among arriving before opening, buying one priority reservation, or accepting standby waits at the most practical time.

The Single Pass increase is definite for November 1: up to $25 per person for TRON, Cosmic Rewind, and Rise of the Resistance, $20 for Flight of Passage, and $18 for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. That makes a per-person, per-park, priority-based budget more useful than repeating the same purchase every day.

Multi Pass remains unchanged for now, an important distinction for guests who prefer securing several attractions. Premier Pass calls for monitoring rather than assumptions: its $50 peak increase has been announced, but its start date has not. The most efficient approach may be an early morning paired with one individual reservation only in the park where it meaningfully saves time.
