The change arrived in September 2026 and completes the fourth and final costume collection planned for the pair this year. It is a limited-reach curiosity, yet an appealing one for travelers who enjoy unusual character photos without giving up a large portion of their park day.

Mickey’s look pairs a teal flannel shirt with an abstract landscape T-shirt, bucket hat, brown cargo pants, and hiking boots. Minnie wears a similar mountain-themed shirt, brown skirt, 1990s-style leggings, teal bandana, and orange belt bag. A trail sign beside them refers to Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and Denali; it supports the theme rather than serving as a wayfinding tool inside the park.

The photo opportunity is not available to every Walt Disney World visitor. It is part of Membership Magic Beyond, an annual add-on for eligible Disney Vacation Club members. For 2026, it costs US$99 and is not prorated: someone buying late in the year pays the same amount and may use it only through December 31, 2026. A one-week Christmas trip can therefore receive just one week of access for the full price. Owning just any Disney Vacation Club contract is not enough. Since June 3, 2021, Membership Extras has required an ownership interest with 150 Vacation Points or more purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc. The package, special ticket offers, and annual-pass offers are not part of the ownership interest and may change or end; all are also subject to availability. A resale owner or an owner with ineligible points should verify individual status before adding US$99 to the trip budget.

Which benefits may offset the cost

For a longer stay, the most measurable component is specially priced 5-day weekday Walt Disney World theme park tickets, including up to five water park visits or sports options. The enrolled member and up to seven people in the traveling party may purchase them, saving up to US$140 per ticket compared with the undiscounted price of a standard ticket. The five-day and weekday conditions reduce their value for a short visit, a weekend trip, or dates with limited work flexibility.

There are also specially priced 3-day weekday Disneyland Resort tickets with Lightning Lane Multi Pass, available to the member and up to seven companions, saving up to US$177 per ticket. At Walt Disney World, the package includes a 30-day Memory Maker entitlement, valued at up to US$210 when purchased separately, and at AULANI it includes one 8-by-10 photo print during the stay. These benefits add value only when they match real destinations and dates; it is unwise to assign full value when a trip will not use every component.

Points, lounges, and itinerary choices

The package provides priority access to the EPCOT ImaginAtrium, Star View Station – A Member Lounge, and McKim’s Mile House – A Member Lounge in Magic Kingdom Park when lounge access goes onto a waitlist. The same party-size rules as the meet-and-greet apply. For families spending full days in the parks, these locations can be useful breaks on hot afternoons; for guests staying off Disney property, that rest time should be weighed against added transportation time and limited park hours.

Members may also use points to purchase a new Disney Sorcerer Pass for 75 points or renew it for 65 points. Each purchased One-Time-Use Point earns one additional point; members may buy up to 12 to receive a total of 24 in a Benefit Season, except for reservations offered through the hotel exchange program. The US$95 transaction fee is waived when booking Disney Collection Resorts and experiences, including Adventures by Disney, Disney Cruise Line, and National Geographic Expeditions.
